Pulley Laundry Line

Not only are pulley laundry lines good for your clothes, they are the most attractive laundry line available. The best ones still retain their Victorian look for a traditional feel. The bars are made from wood and the metal is cast iron. The cast iron is best in black for a time-honoured look, but there are a few other shades which may tone in better with your décor.

As well as looking great, pulley laundry lines are hard wearing, good quality laundry lines that will last a long time. After all, a laundry is supposed to be an investment.

Pulley laundry lines were traditionally placed in the kitchen as this used to be the warmest room in the house. Although this was useful in the past, you may prefer to site yours in the bathroom or laundry room.

A pulley laundry line works on a hoist system. A rope is intertwined around a cast iron lever which you use to hoist the laundry line down to put the washing on and then up high towards the ceiling to allow clothes to dry in the heat of the house. Clothes dry fairly quickly up there!

There are different sizes available so be sure to select a good size for your families needs. You can also find butcher hooks to add on to the laundry line to dry even more clothes when extra space is needed.

It is so easy to buy laundry lines online nowadays. There are a few good Oil Resistant Conveyor Belt companies offering pulley styled laundry lines in the traditional style. They are easy to install and look fantastic in the home.

You’ll also be amazed at how many creases fall out of your clothes when you hang them up high to dry. Especially as pulley laundry lines have bars spaced far apart so clothing is not crushed together. You may find you won’t need to iron as much!

I hope you enjoy using your pulley laundry line and impress visitors with this new, beautiful feature in your home.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
